Moral excellence comes about as a result of habit. We become just by doing just acts, temperate by doing temperate acts, brave by doing brave acts.

“The aristocratic interiority is centered on the higher mind, the mens, the ajna chakra, the seat of intellect and intuition that commands the lower soul and the body. To be blunt, that describes the true 'aristocrat if the soul'.

The second is the idea of destiny and the spiritual impetus behind it. A people, family, and son, have certain spiritual qualities at their origin. The purpose of rites and worship was to keep those qualities present in order to project them into the future. The modern mind cuts off the past in order to create a future with no relationship to it. But human nature will not be denied. Instead of being guided by past heroes and sages, able to distinguish good and evil, the deracinated contemporaries will latch onto any spiritual influences at random. Devoid of true identity, they will create factitious identities.”

Modern Link is a sissy like Cloud. Also, Mirror's Edge is pissing me off. Every time the cops show up the game just gets worse. I guess I'm closer to the end and the combat is ramping up and it's terrible. Also, the gameplay can be trial and error at times, especially when the cops are chasing.

I think that's the intended gameplay loop especially if you're going for a pacifist run. Think of it more like a super meat boy type throwing yourself into it until you find the route you can squeeze through.

Outer Worlds 2 I think will also be seen one day as ludacriously underrated. Gommies hated it because it wasn't gommunist and terminally online chuds hated it because it superficially satirizes capitalism. But it seems like a better successor to FONV than FO4 ever was

Forza H6 is 10/10 so far despite niggers and pronouns simply because the radio DJs actually speak japanese which I can understand about 20%and there are also 200% more anime liveries.

I would do the most efficient mass type heater I could get someone who knows what they're doing to build, or walk me through it. Or just efficient standard type wood stoves if underground. I've read some but have no experience with heating that way. Don't know how many acres of wood would be needed, but the guys with nigger-rigged shit I've seen locally won't work here for all heating without having obscene amounts of wood available.
Solar doesn't interest me much. Maybe if I was already set up for everything else and knew exactly how little I could get by with.

Totally different use, but they're putting in solar farms here and it's a blight.

Masonry heating is popular from Germany to Russia, they are the most efficient type of wood stove. But, I don't think Americans can build them properly.

Venus and Jupiter just 'passed' near each other tonight (from the viewpoint of an observer on the surface of the Earth). In astronomy, such an event is known as a conjunction. Of course the actual distance between the two objects is roughly 500 million miles, give or take.

>are those moons
The two brightest objects are not moons, but rather the two famous planets in Sol. Venus on the top, Jupiter on the bottom. The tiny objects near the bottom planet are indeed moons. Known as the Galilean Moons, they were discovered by the famous Italian Galileo Galilei in the 1600s with the 'first' telescope he made.

Makes no sense to worry about an invasion when the US can't even gather recruits to take kharag island. If anything, the boomers in Iran got too comfortable with the status quo and think if they can just hold out, they'll win, which isn't happening.

>The first Polish immigrants came to the Jamestown colony in October 1608, during the "second supply", twelve years before the Pilgrims arrived in Massachusetts.[9] These early settlers were brought as skilled artisans by the English soldier–adventurer Captain John Smith, and included a glass blower, a pitch and tar maker, a soap maker and a timberman.
>The foreign craftsmen began producing glassware, pitch, and potash soon after their arrival in 1608. These goods were used in the colony, but were also important as they were the first goods exported from the colony to Europe.
>When the first elections in the colony were held in 1619, the colony did not allow any continental settlers to vote, including approximately 50 Polish craftsmen and their families. They were denied the right to vote on the grounds that they were not of English descent. In reaction, the Poles launched the first recorded strike in the New World,[24][25] and they refused to work unless they were given the right to vote.
>The skills of these Polish colonists were vital to the new settlement, as the House of Burgesses, representing the Virginia Company, ultimately recognized when it met on July 21, 1619, to discuss a negotiated settlement to the strike.[27] Under labor pressure, the Virginia Company's Council reversed the decision to disenfranchise the craftsmen, and simultaneously struck an agreement with the craftsmen to apprentice young men from the colony.

>Passed on September 20, 1664, Maryland’s anti-amalgamation law was the first colonial legislation explicitly designed to prevent interracial marriage. I don't remember if it was a federal law or if only some states do it, but they started requiring nets to keep out birds on certain sizes. I'm open minded about the fake jew thing, but I really don't like the christian identity aspect to it. They're claiming an imaginary glorious jew-ish history like the israelis. 3000 years ago, Jerusalem was a village and the united kingdom of israel probably never existed. Plus the old testament jews were absurdly immoral.

As usual, the truth is far more complex than anyone imagines. Same for the fake jews who blackmailed their way into taking over Palestine today. I don't think it really matters what any of us think though. The real issue as I see it is what does God Himself think, and are these the jews prophesied in the Christian Bible as being the ones located in the land that God promised to Abraham's descendants at the end of the age? If so, then they are in for one hella shitstorm coming up upon them soon by all appearances.
>>175000 #>>174997 #

The thing about jews is that they're chameleonic. If the events of the old testament happened didn't happen they would like us to believe, they would still come up with them anyway because it's a master key to a lot of boomer retards. Arguing over if the jews are real or fake hebrew is a trap. If they are, it still doesn't give them a right to parasitize off the west and turn israel into a giant criminal base. Evidently, if abrahamism is correct, God had no issue with how people treated jews for 2000 years and modern Israel's history has not exactly been blessed with miracles. It's like the holocaust, people should look at the big picture and see the implausibility of the project rather than getting into the details about which camp could dispose of X number of bodies or which israelis have been there the longest.

Fair. Although I'd point out that if God Himself is actually involved in the affair then "plausibility" is right out. After all He simply spoke and this entire universe appeared out of 'that which cannot be seen'. Of course if it's simply a kike contrivance, then it will come crashing down upon their heads eventually. Rightly so. Regardless, there are more than one spiritual forces afoot in the world today, namely Satan. Whether these are the real biblical Israelis or just a bunch of vagabond Turkic gypsies, they are serving their father Satan, clearly.

I mean that, except for Syria, Israel's strategic position has been going downhill since the 80s while their domestic politics have become more unstable and they've been getting more isolated internationally. No one would look at this and see God's beneficial hand at work without the Christian Zionist brainwashing that makes them think everything bad happens to Israel is done by Satan. Just look at Netanyahu. He has almost turned Israel into apartheid South Africa internationally because of his legal problems. Jewish power in the west is desperately trying to get rid of him and reset Israel's image with a clone like Bennett. If anything Bibi might really be God's chosen prime minister jej

I seriously hesitate to question God's motives. As a devout Christian, I know He is all-loving & good. OTOH, I see that he is also furious towards Satan and his little band. I personally applaud that. I myself have come to the conclusion that the kikes are fake demons that Satan has propped up (being the current, temporary, god of this world. [cf. the temptation of Jesus Christ in the desert]). That is, he has turned the world's mammon system over to these decrepit & bizarre wretches. With that, the kikes now effectively rule the world.

OTOOH, God Himself will laugh the nations to derision in the end, and hold their father up naked, bloody, & toothless for all creation to mock.

Not all aristocracy, but the specific idea that God ordained a natural order of kings, priests and peasants completely failed and was replaced without much issue by secular government. Whether you're a commie nigger retard and love the french revolution or love Hitler, neither of them needed guys in government who believed they had a right to be there because their ancestors claimed a divine heritage. Aristocracy in a literal sense might come back, even with titles, but the feudal order won't in a meaningful sense. Yes I know that feudalism was not real but it's a useful descriptor.

The problem with this kind of argument is that I could post something like Sicut Judaeis, with the popes ordering jews be protected, or the pope at the time condemning massacres of jews after Jerusalem was taken. It goes nowhere. The leadership was generally corrupt and protective of jews, while the peasants still had their racial instincts. Anon's point is that the vast majority of racial traitors in the modern era are motivated by Christianity, whether or not that's the correct view of the religion. For example the German "resistance" to Hitler was motivated by aristocratic views of Christianity.

oriental society is inherently diplomatic, and this means even if they hate you, one can always strike up a business conversation and transactions can occur. its neither a negative or positive trait.
But were one to guess, he has no ability or desire to stop it because what collateral do the israelis have on him at this moment? not enough i'd assume. and the transaction these parties would propose is if he wants to reignite a civil war in the midst of everything else going on right now.

I have to wonder, why does it matter? If retards are infighting, I don't care, no one should except the parties involved. If it's racial, they'll all agree to the infighting.

If someone can't take me to some jew's funeral, no one cares.

What's it matter if some business or diplomacy doesn't happen?

OTOH, I think it's very important that there are some people who have no point beyond which they will break off totally from an enemy, or a transaction. How could you ever trust them?

That's kind of surprising. I guess me, lat and the Go upstream devs did a good job. I'm still mentally stuck in the old meguca.org era when opening the full thread would blow up your browser jej.

Server side memory consumption is 827 MB rn. Add another 90 MB for caddy as the reverse proxy and about 300 MB for postgres serving the DB. That's probably better than most of the webring, which uses JSchan or Infinity. I don't know what the per user memory overhead is, but it's probably pretty low due to Go. When I get back into webdev I'll start profiling shit again.

I talked about this before. It's a well known issue where the monitor maker set a bad EDID on the monitor so the gpu memory has to clock up to vblank often enough.
>>176508 #
I don't know how to do it on wayland. tbh I don't think it will make a difference at 165hz. Just look up things like edid, cvt and high memory usage. So, the original notion in the mooveh thread was "prosthetic normalization". My presumption given the context (Avatar movie) was the studio production techniques used to generate the 3D CGI character renderings on the screen -- all based on the MOCAP of the actual live actors on the sound stages performing the initial motions for the scenes. If this presumption isn't the correct one, then none of what I'll try to say here is relevant to that Guca's point.

So to start off with, is that correct? Is that basically what you meant?

Sorry for the confusion, I'll just leave things at that then.

The process used in the Avatar films is far more complex, tedious, and expensive than just that (which is why I was unwilling to just dive into that whole topic during the mooveh itself), but that's a basic gist of the idea. Although in that specific set of cases (the movies) they probably spent close to a half-billion US$ on the process. In general they did a really good job at it (though most studios don't).

Yes, basically. But that's just the very first step of production in a long process chain (known as the "pipeline") in such 3D CGI filmmaking productions.

Also this was funny coming straight from Life is Strange. There are several mirrors in that game that use the old hack of rendering the current scene from another perspective at half resolution. 4 years and one console gen later, you get the UE classic of a non reflective mirror.
>>176621 #
In vampyr? I know the gimmick is that you don't level up much unless you kill special NPCs and that you're supposed to maximize the XP you get from them first with convos and quests. It sounds interesting but apparently the too frequent combat becomes a real slog later unless you metagame with broken builds or overleveling.

There's a better measurement that I forgot how to do, something to do with postgres connections from the user to the DB. The ip count on meguca is broadly accurate.

please don't talk about technical things when you haven't even seen the code. The lurker ip counter is the number of all the active websocket connections. When you switch VPN nodes, your browser will (eventually) close the connection. The only way to game it is by opening multiple tabs on the same IP, because the count is not IP unique for technical (lazy) reasons.

If you have more than one websocket connection to the page, sure. That's most likely what it is. As you can see from the code, the client count should be adjusted every time the server receives a websocket message. The server isn't responsible for the zombie IPs.

No, there is no error in the server side code. The IP counter has never been an IP counter, I discussed this before. The "total IP count" is the count of the number of open websocket connections to the server and isn't IP unique.

Your VPN seems to be leaving stale connections open on old IPs, so theoretically someone could see that node A and node B are getting the same traffic from site C, meaning the same person is using them. Then activity on either node could be linked to activity on the other, which is bad if your VPN touches personal info. That's why I keep asking what setup you're using. I use mullvad's desktop app that by default pipes everything through the VPN and globally kills your internet connect when you switch nodes or have issues. Are you using a browser extension?

I don't like making fried rice for this reason, I've given myself 2nd degree oil burns from throwing around oil for making pancakes and seeing if I could flip a pancake with just the pan, it was a bad idea.

I suggest watching a video and seeing if there is a way to make it without throwing near boiling oil around. Typically the top 2-3 recipies online on recipe websites are also good.

I generally stick to simple rice of 1 part rice, 2 part water, bring to boil in covered pot and let simmer for 15 minutes on low with salt in the water to taste, put butter on it at the end(more than you think, unsalted), and then whatever spices or other things I want with the rice.

I tend to prefer simpler flavors but I have a fairly refined palette so if I know a chord I am trying to hit I'll go for that. Can almost never got wrong with salt, black pepper, savory, garlic, onion, honey and umame and sometimes with hot spice. Generally avoid cinnamon but that's just me.

Then just make simple rice, anon. Easiest thing in the world. Scoop out rice into pot, use same scoop twice to put clean water into pot, pinch of salt or so, stir a little, bring to boil, when boil, heat to low and then start a 15 minute timer and a tab of unsalted butter when the timer's done and you fluff the rice. EZPZ

Cook whatever meat you want while you wait and steam or fry your vegebles as well. Carmelized onions with steak is a favorite with rice for me.

No, use clean water. It also clean the scoop if you use the water second. Generally, for a big meal 1 cup is fine for two people. Half a cup for one person serving.
>>177175 #
Anonymous
>>177175 #
I use oil or butter at the end to enhance the flavor and texture of the rice. The water is needed to cook the rice.

Dry frying rice is not a thing, that's called toasting and toasted rice is a thing but basically impossible to do on the stove unless you are trying to make popped rice, which is retarded gook nonsense.
>>177177 #
Anonymous
>>177177 #
Do you have a stove top or a hot plate? If so, any pot you have will be suitable so long as it takes a lid that lets a little steam out. Some nice rice, short grain sticky rice, requires soaking beforehand.

I don't really care for a rice cooker when making rice perfectly every time is so easy without one.

1 Part rice
2 Parts water
Pinch of salt
Bring to boil with high heat
When it boils, bring to simmer
Start 15 min timer
When timer is up, remove lid, fluff rice, add butter and enjoy

true. but unless you have an expensive setup going, it's practically impossible to keep microbe contaminants out. boiling is the first, best line of defense in this matter. as long as your seals hold, then it should keep for months at least. have any iodine tablets?
>>177276 #

>>177275 #
I have water purification stored up...
but unless someone is shitting in your water, no microbes are not a problem. It stores indefinitely as is. Rainwater has different issues, but you'd have a tank at that point.

You can store water in used plastic water jugs if they're not the kind that let too much air through, just don't put your dirty mouth on them ever.

Just so. Canning is the literal superior method (will keep for years that way). But most farms save that approach just for foodstuffs. Simply boiling it, then pouring it into glass containers with a very good seal is sufficient for most situations.

And of course as Guca says, water itself (by itself if only we could) will keep indefinitely. The problem is that microbes are literally.everywhere. on the surface of the Earth.

I think you misunderstand me. I don't mean sterilized vessels and sterile water. I mean, if your water doesn't have nutrients of some sort in it, microbes or whatever have nothing to eat. I use the same vessels for water for years (I haul all drinking water to a place), never washing, just shaking some water in them and dumping, and filling and capping. I've left them for at least 6 months, though I usually drink the freshest if possible and use older for cooking or coffee, but that's just because mentally I would rather have fresher.

Rainwater has some form of nitrogen in it, don't recall, and dirt. But in a tank algae will form that will eat it up for you. Personally, I'd really only worry about birds getting in and dying. I'd find someone from a firstworld country or place where everyone uses rainwater to tell you what to do with it, I don't know.

Municipal water however has god knows what poop in it, and recycled everything from upstream, and chemicals, I can't vouch for it.

Freezing is superior to canning, except for space and inevitable power loss or long term problems. There is significant nutrient loss, and has a large energy/time/cleaning uh... budget.
Plus, when you most need to spend time canning is when you most need to spend time doing other things. Freezing until early winter and canning then is a possibility for some things, to free up some time and freezer space.

I've been telling anons for months that the play is to get rid of him, put in a minime like Bennett and continue with the same security and settlement policies while being superficially more liberal on Gaza and gays to defuse the activist left. Netanyahu made a big strategic error by putting Smotrich and Ben Gvir in government. When they're gone, the good guy likudniks will go back to only partially sponsoring settlers to gradually erase the palestinians instead of making wild threats about mass explusions and settling lebanon every few months.

I have a schizo theory. It's the English, and his heir the American, who yearn to go native. To strip naked, kill enemies, abduct women, and to be told by the unlearned but respect elders "we approve". And in practice, does he not out savage the savage? In movies it's almost always the English that I can think of, more than the simulation of an ethnic, the Irish. He can call himself Turk MacToe, but we know who he is. In reality, how many leaders of enemies were English or lowland Scottish contrary to celtboomers. Or their half-breed children. Out of tribes of comanches, they came up with a Parker?.

In more civilized times they were orientalists, and adventurers putting on robes and penetrating secrets like Mecca.

I think that's why it's in the popular mythology.

Not really relevant, but also Sully is not short for Sullivan.

I don't feel like fleshing this out correctly but whatever

The engine damage is happening now. I should have saved it, but some jeet knifed some other jeet to death at a yamaha dealership because his engine seized up. Sporardic reports and violence and a deeping problem.

Finally brought out the sword and rewrapped the grip with lacrosse nigger tape until I buy a new one.
The takeaway: 60 swings feels like the equivalent of a few dumbell sets, except I dont have to go to the gym and scare the hoes…
This is great news!

ご機嫌ようほむ、
何をしましたか?

Worked, worked out, had to deal with big dum 2day, upset, but it was my fault, I could have stopped it from happening, and didn't.
Annoyed the flies are too many to ignore when I go running lately. The mosquitoes are more bearable than having these things swarm at me going down a trail.

Minor play for the Dupes -- a few mere Summer cottages on the bay. But for the MAGApedes, it should be a clear signal where his loyalties lie.

I will be missing magia this week. I need to catch up later this week. Any ideas for movie night this week? I have a few movies in mind I'm sure Illya hasn't seen.
