I gave c++ a chance and was so frustrated. This zoomer who does nothing but c++ told me my boomer style was just straight C with classes. Don't use raw pointers but RAII and all this other C++ unique_ptr shared_ptr and stuff like that. Long story short I went back to C for my fun. Everything that is important is written in C anyway, especially APIs. Go is fine for the server.
