I'm turning the TV set off, I'm writing letter to you
That I can't look at shit anymore
That I don't have the powers anymore
That I almost started to drink, but haven't forgotten you
That phone was ringing, wanted me to get up,
Dress and go, more accurately I'm running
But I said "to hell with you"
Said I'm sick and tired and didn't sleep last night

I'm waiting for an answer, there isn't hope anymore
Summer is ending.
This (summer)...

Now there is good weather - it's been raining for 4 days,
The radio said that even the shade will be hot.
But even in my shade
Its dry and hot, but I'm afraid now...
And time goes day by day, one day we eat, three days we drink,
And at our life is funny it's not important that out of the window theres rain
The tape recorder broke,
I'm sitting in silence and I'm glad of it

I'm waiting for an answer, there isn't hope anymore
Summer is ending.
This (summer)...

Out of the window is a building - a crane is working
The restaurant thats round the corner has been closed for 5 years.
And on the table is a jar
In the jar is a tulip, and on the window there's a glass.
And year by year it will go this way, and life will be go this way too
And for hundredth time my sandwich will drop butter down
But maybe there will be one day,
Maybe there will be an hour when we're lucky.

I'm waiting for answer, there aren't hopes anymore
Soon summer will end.
This (summer)...

For now. imo EU sanctions on Israel are inevitable and that will collapse their economy because the EU is their largest trading partner. It's impossible to separate the goods produced in the illegal settlements from those produced inside legal Israel. The recently introduced sanctions are going to expand over time.

We'll see it for ourselves. I think a lot of remake culture and the tendency for game to become the cornerstone of a multimedia project is driven by millennials. Older games didn't even like the idea of RE as a movie, regardless of the quality. Modern RE fans are millennials addicted to new shiny stuff.
>>242089 #

And that also brings up another important factor, in the event of a true global "collapse" that impacts trade, Isr would be one of the hardest hit, so this is why I strongly believe the highest level jews want a controlled decline that they can manage as opposed to an actual apocalyptic scenario that spirals out of hand

There is, and is not a monolith.
Jews are jews.
But not all jews are equal.
There are factions in that sphere.
The common thread is that they will not turn on one another for the outsider.

That stated, Israel as a state is in over it's head right now and its taking burger along for the ride. The situation in the gulf is why burger is probably letting russian tankers slip through and even those child eating hags like Van Der Leyen in Brussels are letting it happen because even though they can't buy the russian petrol, they can buy the products it will produce in India and Bangladesh.
As for what it would take to bump Israel down, it would require something triggering a collapse in Egypt which is unlikely without Saudi interference.

Yes, burger's merchant marine, and for the sake of international interference, assume some entity decides it would be interesting to incite a conflict with the bedouins or residents around Eilat and Al-Aqaba were it possible and those populations not docile as of now.

The lever on Sunni Islamic extremism was Wahabbi money and thats been negotiated down behind closed doors. Short of an uprising in Egypt and possibly Saudi there isn't anything going to break the burger support to Israel or put it in enough peril for that state to collapse in the immediate future.

Aside from being a sadist cute essentially she wanted to be human. Usually a pretty boring plot for a robot girl, but I think it worked well in the context of her being a glownigger toy surrounded by humans and bots who can't think past the barrel of their guns and shouganai to working for the illuminati. It helps that RPK is highly expressive and not just a dandere Rei clone quoting philosophy, she wants the sensations of being human because it fascinates her.

>can't rely on the US
The US has an overstretched naval position and is bogged down with the persians for a political favour no other administration was dumb enough to do.
The chinks have an overdeveloped dual purpose fleet via their 'fishing' vessels, which are gouging the seafloor.

The serious thing at risk here is freedom of navigation because if Iran implements theirs, the Scandis/EU will implement one in the Baltic, Turkey one in the Bosporus, SEAmonkeys in Malacca, and so on. It will make goods transiting through anywhere much more difficult and seriously crimp international trade and raise political tension with the Russians.
On the flip side, it will also cripple international immigration patterns because less money moving, less people need to go. But that would be a third order effect decades down the line.

I'm not saying that to be mean, several people literally said that in the 9/11 thread and it wasn't just webringers. You had a meido episode a few weeks ago after someone joked about all the alleged shamiko crossboarders here. That's just in the last month. this isn't about rulefags.
>I still stand by that I haven't done anything this summer to warrant this.
I agree. The problem is that you have consistently eroded trust and done nothing to restore it. You couldn't/wouldn't even set up a way for me or parsee and satori (so far as I know) to personally contact you. Instead I come back from sleeping or doing something and see shit like that. My perception of you has been warped by the fact the only time I get to talk to you is after some stupid event like this. I've never gotten a "sorry things got out of hand but I had X going on or thought Y at the time", I just get meta in the only active board on the site in front of the peanut gallery.
>>242312 #
>you bring up things like this like I was supposed to know them
You were literally asked months ago to set up an email since you couldn't get bitmessage up and running.
>So I'm still being de-meido'd after you acknowledge I have demonstrated improvement for months
Because I don't trust you not to abuse your power or violate trust for a laugh. I'm trying to put this in an inoffensive way. Parsee used to be much more hands on meido, but he has moderated himself over time and sticks to bullying anons with silly spoiler images, h8bitch responses etc. Satori as well. They don't participate in or start arguments as blatantly as you do, when even newfags straight from the webring know it's alvy doing it.

I can't separate my distrust in you as a mod after months of you ignoring my requests to moderate your behavior and seeing me defend you from everyone else, and my personal distrust in you. It bleeds over. I don't even trust that you're not trying to manipulate me now into restoring you as a board owner out of guilt like I did last time. What is even the point of this conversation? Do you get a kick out of killing conversation and talking meta shit? Are you saying that I've insulted you personally by publicly saying I don't trust you anymore? I'm not going to go in circles. It's over. idc if you want to screencap this conversation and pour over it for logical inconsistencies. I've been worrying about you driving away people for weeks because you haven't really changed. I've warned since the start that I'm not going to tolerate another sak.

Do you expect an itemized list of every time you lost meido friend points? Do you want me to admit this decision is partly influenced by emotion and lack of sleep? Sure. You can call me arbitrary here and on every board on the webring if it makes you feel better, but you're missing the point. I am literally the only person who would defend you as a meido and you've exhausted even me. To put it another way, how are people supposed to have confidence in me if I keep around a staff member that literally none of them like, because "he's getting better, trust me"? Maybe you are but I doubt they will stick around indefinitely to find out.

>>242322 #
>So it comes down to you worrying what newfags may or may not think
Don't pretend that we didn't lose long time anons in the past over board drama and meido issues. Yes, my decision is partly influenced by my worries about non /xomy/ users (both returnees from dotorg and actual newfags) but again, almost everyone either has issues with you or is at least neutral to what's going on now. Who is standing up for you? Do you think someone will show up tomorrow to fight for you? I'm not saying this to humiliate you I'm saying it because nobody has faith in you as staff. I would like to think some of them like you personally but it speaks for itself.

I'm worried about the future of the community I re-assembled and I'm feeling my way through things, because all I can go on is negative examples of how other communities were destroyed/crippled. I don't care to win some imageboard activity competition but I've seen the good times that anons have had here and I feel responsible for it, in the sense that it up to me to keep the server up, keep things performing well, maintain a good reputation here and elsewhere to avoid DDOS and raids, try to protect anons privacy, try to find old friends and good new people etc. I literally looked for cheetah for the sake of strasser and a few other anons that said they missed their conversations with him. Maybe he will spend the next six months bullying me, I don't really care. I feel guilty that I didn't find him in time to prevent at least one anon leaving (I think it was sneedem). I worry about anon's feelings and how far anon can be pushed without quiet quitting. I worry about those who might have quit quietly. I literally ask for feedback even from people who are mean to me elsewhere because I'm scared of unknowingly doing something that will drive people away without even an explanation of their problems. Hell, I still feel guilty about missing those two anons on the endchan bunker by a few weeks and ask every old anon I encounter if they are one of them.

I don't really know where I was going with that but basically, at this point I see alvydas the meido as toxic in every sense to keeping the community healthy.

In hindsight, the late /xomy/ situation makes me think of the near miss we had on dotorg as well. >It's the dominance of anime discussion over right wing type of discussions now
I agree that this is happening and I know it's an issue for some people. My point of view on this is that a board that is just /pol/ and /k/ is going to retain less users over time because they can't sustain conversation as well. In a small group, everyone who cares is eventually learn what they need to know about kikes, pranks and guns. I've said multiple times that I don't believe that mono-topic boards survive in the current imageboard culture with it's low population and small intake of new users. People get bored, leave, no one replaces them, board dies. I don't think that purely media boards work either (because the average output of anime, tv, etc is so shit). I really believe that the best model for an imageboard community is a cafe style place with a common culture and expected set of political beliefs, but where people can talk about whatever interests them and ideally find people with similar interests or introduce them to it. I don't think that most discussion shifting to media is inherently deradicalizing, but I'm not one of those 8moe idiots who thinks THE JEWS FEAR THE SAMURAI and that loli pussy keeps the shills away, nor do I want this place to be like sh/a/mi and full of porn, pyus and really vacuous posts. I would like anons who want to talk about media, share nice things. Maybe I've been too indulgent of the yuri anon posting his stuff in the main thread.

With regards to addressing the anime problem, I'm not sure what to do. Moderating it just for being anime is obviously counter productive and would unnecessarily drive people off. I've suggested to bring back the meguca book club multiple times, but I'm guessing that it wouldn't make much difference since no one seemed interested. All I can think of is encouraging /k/ anons to post more and bully the newfags into dryfire drills or something.

A) Warn them off a couple times.
B) If that didn't help baleet the posts themselves.
C) If that didn't work, ban them for a period.
D) IF THAT DIDN'T WORK... perma them.

And all in that order. One of the problems with a """liberal""" mindset is that you tend to negate the fact that some ppl are downright demonic assholes. Gomen I thought I was talking to you yesterday. Basically, my view is that even though the current EU and UK sanctions on Israel are as weak as possible (banning goods labeled as coming from illegal settlements), the fact that most of the israeli economy is linked in some way to the settlements and given the documented state sponsored mislabeling of settlement goods, that the sanctions will target more of the israeli economy over time just to try to have some effect. I think israel is nearly doomed to become like rhodesia at this point and the last chance to pull back and put some lipstick on the pig is the current election. All the prospective leaders believe the same things as Netanyahu, but they don't have as much negative global PR associated with them personally. Either way, I think israel is a useful sacrificial lamb for international jews. Losing it would generate sympathy, undermine the simplest arguments for the existence of ZOG and deflate the populist right which is overwhelmingly propped up by israeli agents. I don't believe that elite jews are willing to risk their whole operation for a bunch of crazies who think resettling enough jews in the west bank will bring back their false messiah.

I don't think they have a choice. I haven't suddenly become a neolib believer in international law, but now that the sanctions ball is rolling I don't see how it can be stopped. Almost the entire third world will join in to spite "colonialism" and there is no precedent for what israel is doing. The modern leaders of the settlement movement are lunatics orchestrating ethnic cleansing to fulfill their interpretation of a biblical prophecy. The old ones were conservative nationalists trying to keep the palestinian state down and out, the new ones think they'll have thousands of gentile slaves after they build the last settlement in "judea and samaria".

That's certainly the Globohomo Big- Tech/Gov's longer term plot in the matter, I think. My previous statement applies to them FIRST AND FOREMOST! PKD was so singularly-unique among modern writers that I'm still eager to see what he had to so along these lines. Nope. The 10 years expired in 2022 or 2023. Personally I would say that the natural end of the state of israeli is 10-15 years away. Rhodesia survived for a long time under sanctions and Israel has willing collaborators in egypt and jordan.

Ahh, I see. I don't try to prognosticate in this matter much (though I have my own fantasies/opinions on it, ofc). I'm absolutely convinced that A) that land itself (not the yids currently controlling it) is important, b/c of biblical prophesy (this is ofc why Satan is trying to short-circuit that with his best (((shabbos golem))) puppets rn). And B) it will all come out in the wash exactly at those self-same biblical prophesies state. Other than that, I'm mostly meh on the big-picture part. On the ground ofc, I hope the Iranians absolutely flatten tel Aheeb into complete rubble, and soon! :D

quick xitter post before I go. The SPR is supposedly at 40% capacity. I think people make up these numbers for clicks, but anons were interested in the SPR a few fortnights ago.

Dumb. Everyone in the engineering and infrastructure world knows the SPR needs to be fully drained and rebuilt somewhere else. There is a massive chance of it being flooded with salt water intrusion.

Thanks. I personally don't understand why crusty old curmudgeons seem to delight in making Christianity as boring and offputting as humanly-possible (Longhouse Karens, I suppose). This is literally the greatest single adventure possible for any human being, AND ITS GOING TO LAST FOR ETERNITY!111!!eLeVeN!!
Why would anyone in their right mind pass up that opportunity?

I hope John Plant makes enough money off this hobby of his to afford to do it fulltime soon. Who knows what he might invent next? The fact he's successfully created a knife using nothing but bacterial muck runoff "ore" is a testament in itself.
