The only "untained" copy of star wars that really exists is in Disney's vaults. They have a 4k remaster they won't release to the public. There is no canonical version of Star Wars according to nerds. Lucas supposedly sent out copies in '77 with different scenes that were later cut during wide release. Then he monkeyed with the movies in the 90s with the special editions. Then he monkeyed with the movies again for the blu-ray release.

Hyperspace requires specific lanes, like a narrow trade route, so elites on every planet can monopolize all trade and power coming into that system, so monarchies are everywhere. Droids have devalued all labor and the population is generally poor.

Critics. Episode I is amazing. Also, people had sky high expectations going into this movie it was unreal. Star Wars may have been in production every decade since the 70s, but Lucas hadn't made a new movie since 1983's Jedi. Yes, in epsiode III and in the expanded stuff. Jedi don't just disappear on death. It's a skill to become one with the force that was only "recently" rediscovered in the clone wars era. Obi-wan and yoda disappearing is because they are the elite of the jedi with extra special knowledge of the force.

idk. Episode I's visual design is really impressive and I've played some older games so I can appreciate the influence. If there's anything that feels like it's supposed to impress me but doesn't, it's all the jumping in the fight scenes. It just looks like a way to get yourself killed.

I read some autistic analysis of that scene and it was about how Padme is wearing all black leather like Vader in front of the fire and it's foreshadowing Anakin's fall Lava and becoming Vader. His love looks like the creature he becomes. Meanwhile, Lucas picked that outfit because it was hot.

I think Yoda is my favourite character. He wouldn't be a supporter of democracy in an IRL scenario

I mean, by this point in the Clone Wars Anakin has waged war across the galaxy as a General, fought countless battles, how is he NOT a master by this point?

Palpy's story just now is supposed to imply that Plagueis created Anakin. Remember, Anakin's mom just became pregnant one day. It's supposed to be the result of a dark side ritual.

Because Lucas has to "explain" why the Emperor looked so weird in Return of the Jedi. It couldn't be that the Emperor is really old because the timeline fucks that up, so it's premature aging.

The first game is much more constrained in it's size. If you want to do everything it's around 20-30 hours I guess. But it's pointless cosmetic collecting. The second game has this massive map and the items to collect are pointless cosmetics.
